Sharron Todd Marriage Celebrant Grafton Maclean Yamba

Borrowed from Greek tradition. the giving of favours happens at many Australian weddings. A small gift is given by the couple as an expression of apprecition to wedding guests. Bonbonnieres are small boxes or bags which contain the favors. Traditionally the number of favours given is indivisible or a prime number, usuall 3,5 or 7 or a sigle favor symbolising unity. Many different favours such as chocolates, sugared almonds are readilly available & a wide range on bonbonniere s. Framed photographs or disposable cameras are also sometimes given as favors. The giving of a piece of weddibg cake is a closely related marriage tradition.
The interwoven continuous lines of the celtic love knot symbolise the eternity of love and the journey of two lovers through life together.
Wedding Celebrant Grafton Yamba Maclean Wedding Calender October 2012
Next Month
If you are seeking a marriage celebrant to perform a wedding ceremony in Grafton, Yamba, Maclean or elsewhere in the Clarence Valley my availability is indicated on the calendar below. This calendar is for October 2010, other months can be accessed from the menu above or with the navigation arrows below. If you are planning your wedding for a more popular month you may need to book your wedding celebrant some time in advance, perhaps more than a year. I only perform one wedding ceremony per day, sometimes I may be able to perform a morning naming ceremony on the same day as I have an afternoon wedding ceremony to perform. If my calendar indicates I am booked I may be able to recommend another marriage celebrant, please contact me.
October weather in the Clarence Valley is warm and can be hot. October is our windiest month of the year. Grafton's 50yr mean maximum temperature for September is a warm 24.8 (°C). Mean 3pm temperature, a popular wedding time is 23.6 (°C). October average 3pm humidity is 49.0%. Average rainfall for October here in Grafton is 80mm. Rain falls on about 7 of October's 31 days or about 1 day in 4. Winds are higher than other months with an average 3pm wind speed of 7.4 km/h.

If your wedding is outdoors allow for the heat. Use shade where you can and consider hats and dress cool. River breezes in Memorial Park can help & the fountain in See park seems to lower the temperature by a few degrees on a hot day.

Statistics favour a fine day but it could be wise to still allow for rain and have an alternative wet weather venue. Have ushers on stand-by to redirect guests to the alternative venue and have a list of contact numbers ready.

Sugared Almonds are the most traditional favors given at a wedding. The practise of throwing confetti originated in Italy several hundred years ago and the sugared almonds we give today are derived from this tradition.   It is customary to use 5 sugared almonds and these represent health, wealth, happiness, fertility, and long life.  Sugared almonds are also the traditional favour given at naming ceremonies.
